Therefore, in addition to performing the "Pu Du" ceremony in July every year, they also burn more dark paper on the side of the road to create blessings. Later, it evolved into the custom of "setting lights" and "respecting good brothers".

Because such Pudu has the meaning of praying for peace, in addition to using abundant sacrifices to worship the "good brothers" from all sides on the 15th July, the people also invited the opera troupe to perform and worship the gods, and opened a large banquet for guests, which was very expensive. Nowadays, saving and improving folk customs are advocated. Although there are still Pudu activities, they are much more streamlined.

The cultural customs that are inappropriate in the seventh month of the lunar calendar are because July was a day when natural disasters and man-made disasters were frequent in previous years, which easily makes people feel fear of this period.
