Chapter 51: Sinid Island(2/2)

"Just know."

With a slight shaking, the carriage stopped on the side of the road.

They have arrived at the end of the Long Bridge in Xiannid Island, and the Luoxia Palace is already in front of them.

Yennefa dragged his skirt and walked out of the carriage, and Geralt followed closely behind.

Zach just stood up, but saw the white wolf turning around.

"Hey, Zach."

"Um?"

"Thank you."

———————————————

People in good clothes were getting off the carriage in pairs and threes.

Tomorrow's summit invites the entire sorcerer gathering. Such a mobilization will surely cause unnecessary suspicion and commotion.

In order to cover up, the Empire held this banquet as a cover, and the invited guests also expanded to the nobles and officers of Nifgaard.

The group of three people merged into the crowd and headed towards Luoxia Palace not far away.

This red-roofed palace looks magnificent from a distance, but now it is in ruins, and from the inside it is even more terrible.

Most of the roof collapsed, and many falling rocks of different sizes were lying on the floor. It was probably the aftermath of the battle in Gaston Palace six years ago.

Now there are countless scaffoldings in the entire palace, which are covered with construction workers.

After passing through Luoxia Palace, the three of them advanced towards Eritusa along the steep stone steps.

People nodded to Yennefa and Geralt from time to time along the way, obviously they were their old acquaintances.

Many workers are running up and down, carrying stones, wood, saplings and flowers.

"If it weren't for the restoration project, these ordinary people would probably never have the chance to climb to Xiannied Island." Geralt said.

"Why, I came here once as my dance partner six years ago and felt superior?" Yennefa joked Geralt.

"I'm not even an ordinary person, I'm a mutant. And I'd rather never come to this place."

Soon a few people came to the gate of Aritusa Palace.

The entire architectural style is simple and beautiful, like several pure white marble blocks clustered together, reminding Zach of the Temple of Athens that he had seen in his previous life.

Melodious music and the noise of the crowd came from it.

The three of them stepped into it.
