Chapter 13 Flesh Demon
In a trance, Zach felt that he was flying rapidly in the clouds, and the surrounding scene was no longer normal.
The world is dark. Thunder and clouds are densely covered with winds and howling.
There is no trace of civilization on the cracked and barren land. On the wasteland that cannot be seen at the end, countless huge canyons that are bottomless crisscross and spread to the horizon.
The earth was torn apart like paper, the mountains were shattering and collapsed, and the ocean was boiling.
Occasionally, figures of people flew by in the fog, sometimes walking with him or parting ways.
The world is filled with red mist, and the air is filled with the smell of blood.
The smell was so rich that Zach felt as if he was soaked in blood.
Blood rushes into the lungs and blocks breathing, and it seems that I will drown at random.
Gulugulu...
Zach suddenly opened his eyes and found himself floating in the liquid.
The lungs were filled with fluid, but there was no suffocation at all.
Although the breathing becomes extremely heavy, the body does not feel hypoxia.
Zach looked around and saw that his black hair had grown, shaking in the water like seaweed, and he seemed to be in a glass container.
There was a figure walking around behind the thick glass.
Bang bang, Zach pounded the glass in front of him, but no one seemed to notice it.
Just as he mobilized his magic power to try to break the container, someone finally discovered him.
"Hmm? Hey! He's awake! Go and call Lord Erica!"

"Puff... cough cough." Zach sat on a metal bed, first spitting out a large mouthful of sticky liquid, and then coughed violently.
"Huhuhu...where is this?" Zach tried hard to breathe the air, his vision was still a little blurred, and he could only vaguely see figures surrounding him.
"Sir Zach, you are in the floating city of the Holy Master Pato, here is the magic therapy room. You have fallen into a deep coma due to the exhaustion of the magic pool and have been receiving treatment here." A voice answered Zach.
As his vision became clearer, Zach saw that he was in a room, and most of the space in the room was occupied by containers more than one person tall, filled with liquid, some were empty, and some were still figures floating inside.
I was probably one of them before.
There were three people wearing brown robes standing beside him, but unlike the kind-hearted professors in the Master Academy, the anger in these trainee wizards was much more severe.
"Although you are not seriously injured now, it will take some time for the complete recovery of dysfunction. Please continue to rest." A trainee mage replied respectfully. He had one eye missing, and there was only a black hole left where it was originally the left eye.
"You all go down, he is not that fragile." A cold female voice rang behind everyone.
Zach looked over and saw a tall woman walking into the magic therapy room.
The long hair that reached the waist was like the darkest night, as if it was absorbing the light around it.
She was wearing a leather armor lining, as if she had just walked off the battlefield and her forearm was still wrapped with heavy arm guards.
The cold and delicate face still has blood stains on it.
The three trainee wizards bowed respectfully and turned around and left in a hurry.
The woman is tall, half a head taller than Zach.
Zach sat on the edge of the metal bed, only with a white blanket on his lower body. His lines were clear and his tight and sturdy upper body was exposed.
The woman walked aside, her eyes stayed on the black-haired mage for a while, then picked up a piece of parchment and said:
"Zach Stuart. First-level Arcane Wizard." Her voice was as cold as ice.
"Erika. It's you." Zach recognized the old acquaintance in front of him at a glance.
Erica Decay Blade, Level 2 War Mage, Second Star Domain, Commander of the Sixth Chapter.
When the female mage rescued him, she was wearing heavy armor all over her body, and she could not see her face, and the sounds under her armor were difficult to tell the difference between men and women, but Zach still guessed her identity through the shadow magic.
"Born in 10082, he was promoted to a formal wizard at the age of 20. In 10132, he came to Patos to establish the Principality of Zakalander, and he has ruled as a lord to this day..."
The female mage glanced at Zach, almost unable to suppress the anger in her voice: "The Zakaland Academy was established, and a total of 16 trainee mages were trained..."
Bang! The parchment was thrown to the ground.
"You left without saying a word and disappeared for decades just to do these boring things?"
"You have not seen each other for so many years, and you have become much stronger..." As if completely ignoring the other party's questioning, Zach said lightly: "Thank you for saving me."
Erica's voice was not softened by Zach's thanks. The female mage took a deep breath, as if trying to control her emotions: "I'm just executing the order. This time I'm here to ensure your recovery."
"I responded well and was cared for."
"you!"
"How long have I been in a coma?"
"One month." The female mage wrapped her hands on her chest. Just as she was about to explode, she saw Zach standing up, walking out with only a towel wrapped around her body.
"No one survived except you."
Zach stood there for a long time.
Even though a month has passed, he has some hope in his heart.
Erica Decay Blade continued:
"There are many refugees from Zakaland Port who left Patos through the Astral Gate, and there are several mage apprentices..."
Her cold eyes showed an undetectable emotion, and she was silent, as if she was thinking about words, and then she slowly opened her mouth and continued:
"At that time, I could only save you. No other mage survived except you..."
"And not only your Zakaland, but all the six arcane mages in the Patos world were destroyed. Except for you, all the other official mages were killed in battle."
Upon hearing this news, the young mage opened his mouth slightly, then lowered his head, and his black hair fell to his forehead.
‘Are all dead?’
He recalled the situation at that time, and Erica did take him alone.
Flying technique is very magical, and it consumes even more flights that use others to help them fly. It is a great blessing for the other party to save him. He has no right to blame the other party for not saving more people.
After a long silence, Erica heard the man in front of her talking to herself, her voice almost inaudible:
"All of them died in battle? A mage world was destroyed overnight... The last time a different civilization destroyed a mage world was thousands of years ago."
Erica's impression is that even Zach was not indifferent to his emotions when he was young.
But now she saw anger on this man's face that she had never felt before.
"I've been in a coma for a month. So what stage has the war gone? And I guess you have collected a lot of information. What exactly are those things? Have they found their source? And how did this happen?"
Faced with the series of questions raised by Zach, Erica was at first a little confused, and then Kaya clenched his teeth and spit out three words: "Flesh and Blood Demon."
"Flesh Demon?"
