Chapter 048 Abduction

The taxi stopped in front of the outside door of Eric Villa, and Drew paid to get out of the taxi. The black driver, who was a little like Jordan, looked at the bruises on Drew's knees and couldn't help asking, "Miss Barrymore, do you need my help?"

Drew shook his head: "Thank you, no need."

After saying that, he limped forward and rang the doorbell. The black driver couldn't help but look at the high wall. Because the tabloids have been so crazy recently, and there were obviously several paparazzi cars parked not far away, so he quickly remembered that this was Eric Williams's house, but it had nothing to do with him, a taxi driver. He shrugged and started the car and left.

Hearing the familiar voice from the walkie-talkie in front of the door, Drew finally felt his knees hurt and wanted to cry. Only in front of Eric could she have the chance to act like a soft little girl, because only he would care about her.

"Eric, it's me," Drew said to the intercom.

"Drew, wait, I'll come right away."

After a while, the door opened. Eric saw Drew who was a little embarrassed and quickly let the girl in, turned around and closed the door, and said with concern: "Drew, what's wrong with you? Why are you injured in your leg like this?"

Drew said with a little grievance: "My mother didn't know what crazy she was, so she locked me in the house and refused to let me come out. I could only climb down from the second floor, and the bed sheets were not tied tightly..."

Eric quickly realized that Drew's mother was really stupid, but she didn't rush to say it. She squatted down and checked the girl, and found that it was nothing serious. She was just bruised and some skin was scratched on the surface: "Let's go, go to the house, I'll help you with it."

Drew let out a soft gratitude, unable to help but pull Eric's sleeve and limped two steps.

Eric glanced at the girl's appearance, sighed softly, leaned over and picked up the girl, and walked towards the villa.

On the sofa in the living room, Eric found a first aid kit to clean Drew's wounds, and he was not idle either: "Don't do this again in the future, it's very dangerous. Fortunately, this time it was just a minor injury. Although your mother..." Speaking of this, Eric suddenly didn't know how to evaluate Drew's mother, so he could only skip it vaguely and then said: "But she will never do anything to you."

Drew stretched out his fair calves and let Eric be busy on it. After a while, he suddenly asked, "Eric, is something happening?"

Eric's bandage-wrapped for a moment and said, "Did you see it?"

Drew nodded: "I feel that my mother has been weird these days. She calls me secretly without saying anything, but she locks me in the house abnormally, saying it's for my own good. There has been no reports on my drug and alcohol abuse in the newspapers before, but she has never done this."

Eric tied a knot on Drew's knees, packed up the gauze and sanitation water and put it back into the first aid kit: "I don't know how to tell you about this."

Drew didn't say anything, looked at Eric with some anxiety, and waited quietly for the other party to continue talking, obviously knowing that this was caused by himself.

"At noon, Annie called me from New York and said someone wanted her to testify against me...I'm having sex with you."

Drew had such a smart head, and Eric just said this, and she quickly figured out the whole story.

With a bang, Drew stood up with sadness and anger on his face, and his voice was a little hysterical: "It's her, it must be her. I said why she has been sneaky these days, and locked me at home and said it was for my own good. When will she really live a good life for me? I want to cut off the relationship between mother and daughter with her. This Bichi..."

"Drew, don't do this," Eric's oriental concept made him quickly stop Drew from swearing even more viciously: "Girl, no matter how others say your mother, you can't scold her. Although she is not qualified, she is your mother."

Seeing Eric's solemn expression, Drew knew that he would be angry if he really scolded him. Although when he was arguing with his mother at home, both parties could swear words. But since Eric felt that it was wrong, it was definitely wrong: "I'm sorry, Eric." The girl apologized weakly.

"Okay, Drew," Eric gently took the girl into his arms and hugged her: "Actually, there must be someone else behind this matter, otherwise your mother would definitely not do this, because sending me to prison would not do much good for her."

"Sorry, Eric, that... she must have received the money. She has already squandered the money for "Return to Seventeen". What can I do for you?"

"No need to apologize, Drew, this matter has nothing to do with you. I have asked Edward to make some preparations. Don't get involved in this matter anymore. You are still young now."

The two chatted for a while, Eric looked at the sky outside, and the sunset burned half of the sky red: "Drew, you have a rest, I'll go make dinner, what do you want to eat?"

"Pizza, steak, pasta..." Drew had no intention of being polite.

I had to continue talking, and Eric knocked on his forehead: "I can't make all the things you said, so I'd better order takeaway. Also, always eating these things, aren't you afraid that you will become a fat girl in the future?"

"Not afraid, don't you like fat girls?" Drew giggled.

As soon as Eric picked up the phone, the door ringtone rang. Eric took the opportunity to hand the microphone to Drew: "Come on, I'll go and have a look."

Drew agreed to take the microphone and flipped through the thick phone book next to him to check the phone number of the takeaway restaurant.

Eric walked into the door and asked at the microphone. A man's voice sounded across from him: "Mr. Williams, I'm a Los Angeles Policeman."

When he opened the door, there was a fat white policeman and a woman in her thirties standing outside. Just after taking a look at her appearance, Eric roughly judged the other party's identity because this woman looks very similar to Drew.

The white policeman looked obviously reluctant. Although the young man in front of him was young, he had not had a good reputation recently. But he was a very identifiable person after all. He didn't want to get involved in such a bullshit thing, but he could not refuse the entanglement of this woman around him, otherwise he would be complained.

"Hello, Mr. Williams, I'm Matt Bryson." The white policeman reached out and shook Eric, and then said a little embarrassedly: "This Ms. Eddieko Gid Marco said you abducted her daughter..."

Eric frowned and glanced at Eddieko with a sharp look. When the woman in front of her saw Eric looking over, she raised her head slightly, trying to show a little arrogant, but under Eric's slightly oppressive aura, her eyes flashed slightly. Maybe she was not sure whether Drew was here with Eric, so she seemed to be inconfident.

"Drew is indeed here with me, but I didn't abduct her. She came by herself. Ms. Eddick, I think we need to talk about it."

When Eddieko saw that Eric had unexpectedly admitted it, his momentum was blown up like a shriveled balloon: "What else can I talk about? Hand over my daughter quickly. I want to take her back. You raped criminal."

Eric lowered his face and said, "Ms. Marco, please pay attention to your words. Now there is a policeman here. With your words, I can sue you for slander, and the evidence is conclusive!"

"You..." Eddieko's neck shrank slightly, and he glanced at the policeman next to him, but his eyes were asking for help.

Eric took the lead in speaking to the police and said, "Mr. Bryson, please come to the police personally. The matter is not as serious as Ms. Marco said. Drew and I are good friends. She came to my house to play in the afternoon. This is a very common thing, right? Ms. Eddieko may have been a bit overreacting. So if there is nothing else, you can leave and we can negotiate privately."

Matt Bryson also disliked the women around him. After hearing Eric's words, he went down and said, "That's it, Mr. Williams, Ms. Marco, I'll leave first."

"Mr. Bryson, you can't do this, he..." Eddieko obviously didn't want to face Eric alone, so she stepped forward and grabbed Matt Bryson and continued to linger.

Matt Bryson shook Eddieko's hand and said, "Ms. Marco, the matter is already very clear. Your daughter is just coming to Mr. Williams' house to play. If you continue to get entangled, I will sue you for obstructing public affairs!"
