Chapter 6 Retreat to the Villa(2/2)
"Haha, my father used to organize expeditions to hunt in the forest. This is their place to rest." Green stared at the long knives in the middle of the cabinet and whispered.
Mo Yun knew that Green should have recalled his deceased father again.
"When you see you now, he will be proud of you." Mo Yun comforted.
"Thank you. I hope that's the case." Green smiled bitterly.
Mo Yun didn't say anything more. He picked up a revolver and loaded a box of bullets. Then he walked to the cabinet in the middle, reached out to pick up a long silver knife, and picked up another dagger.
He turned around and looked at Chi Muyun, "What do you want?"
"I..." Chi Muyun was stunned for a moment.
"Give you a pistol." Mo Yun handed her the silver revolver.
"Okay." The girl reached out to take it.
In fact, Mo Yun can't use a gun at all. Although he believes that he should be able to use it in this parallel world, he really can't. His understanding of guns is still at the stage of only knowing how to see and not using it. The reason why he takes a gun is actually just a gesture, and he is worried that the other people will see the clues. Of course, Chi Muyun should not, but he still has to pretend on the surface.
Besides, maybe it is useful?
Biologist Hans quietly took three pistols, and also carried a long spear on his back, put a large handful of bullets in his pocket, stuffed them all into his pockets, and filled them with full load. Green and Caitlin, who were beside him, also skillfully put bullets on the guns and carried them on their backs. It seemed that they were veterans who often used guns.
"let's go."
Everyone walked out of the basement and began to prepare to defend their own area.
Green found a few wooden boards, as well as hammers and nails from the basement, and handed them over to Mo Yun and Chi Muyun. Mo Yun was responsible for the front door area, and he needed to nail the living room and the windows in the kitchen next to him.
Ten minutes later.
Mo Yun raised the hammer, aimed it at the nail, and knocked it down with a slam.
He turned his head and looked at Chi Muyun beside her. She was standing beside her with a nail in her hand and hit her hands. The living room was empty, only the two of them. Hans had already gone upstairs with a gun, and Green and Caitlin went to the back door and went to do their own things.
"Do you think this is useful?" Chi Muyun asked.
"It's hard to say." Mo Yun shrugged, "The werewolf is very strong and fast. If they really hit, I think these wooden boards may not be able to hold on." He said helplessly, "But having is better than not. If it can be blocked for a second, maybe it can save our lives."
"Yeah." The girl nodded slightly.
"Do you know how to use a gun?" he asked.
"No." She shook her head.
"Neither I." Mo Yun lowered his voice.
"Then us?"
"I can only expect it to really kill the werewolf as mentioned in the legend." Mo Yun raised his hand, picked up the silver dagger next to him, and felt its sharpness.
"Are we really a werewolf?" Chi Muyun murmured.
"It should be." Mo Yun nodded and lowered his voice, "Also, you have to pay a little attention to Caitlin. Her condition is worth caring about. I'm afraid there will be something wrong with her and Green."
"Well, I'll pay attention." The girl turned her head and looked at the back door, responding in a low voice.
"You have a rest first. If there is no situation, I will call you at two o'clock." Mo Yun glanced at his watch, "Maybe our worries are unnecessary. The werewolf did not keep up with us at all. That was the best situation."
"But if that's the case, our mission should have been completed." Chi Muyun said.
"Yes. I'm afraid this night will not be too quiet."
As the girl was lying on the sofa in the hall, Mo Yun suddenly heard a roar of an engine coming from the front of the main door. Since the wooden boards had blocked the window and blocked the view, he immediately opened the door.
He was stunned.
The gray convertible jeep he was riding just now ignited a raging fire, and the fire illuminated the surroundings brightly. The jeep Green was riding when he came, and had just driven onto the highway.
It's Hans!
That guy who has been silent and looks very honest!
His head buzzed, and he immediately realized the seriousness of the problem. Now, their only means of transportation was burned, Hans left alone with a gun and bullet, leaving them alone in the villa waiting to die!
"Damn it!"
