Chapter 383 Rice Wine with Broad Beans

A small felt hat, a black-sailed boat, a plate of fennel beans, and a bowl of daughters. Watching a traditional social drama between the Qushui and Liushang, there are many reasons to come to Shaoxing.

I remember when I first saw the place name Shaoxing, I was in the textbook, the Xianheng Hotel written by Mr. Lu Xun, as well as Kong Yiji and Fennel Beans. I still remember Mr. Kong’s classic sentences that are so many? Not many.

There are also many stories such as Sanwei Bookstore and Aq, which also make this ancient city more and more desirable.

A mountain, a water, an ancient city, a wall, a tiles, an old street, and a black tile leaf into the painting. The old streets in Shaoxing are wading on the green mountains and clear waters, scattered among the pink walls and black tiles, hidden among the green trees and flowers, history everywhere, and scenery everywhere.

Walking into the old street, it seems to be walking into the rich history of Shaoxing. Time flows slowly here, pictures overlap and intersperse here, prosperity is like scenery, worldly affairs are like dreams, rise and fall in the misty rain, and personnel changes, leaving only the old streets as vicissitudes as before.

The black-sailed boat is a unique means of transportation in the water town. It is named after the bamboo tent painted black. This is the world of boats. Most black-sailed boats are sailing in the river. They are light and brisk when walking, and are leisurely and elegant when mooring. They are either alone or in groups. They are alone and tall, and the groups are vast.

The tent is made of bamboo slices and bamboo wires into a semicircle, and the middle is embedded with bamboo. Two semicircles are made of leaves, and then they are mixed with bituminous coal powder and tung oil and mixed with stir-frying on the tent.

I hire a boat alone, push aside the black tent, sit or lie down, listen to the gurgling water and the creaking sounds of slurry, and look at the mountains and rivers on both sides of the river, and the pastoral scenery. It really makes me feel like walking on the mountain, like swimming in a mirror.

Whether it is rippling over rivers and lakes, or Yi Ya walks through bridges and alleys, it is very interesting. If you visit Lu Xun's grandmother's house, Anqiaotou, water town Keqiao, ancient and unique Bazi Bridge, or go to the famous scenic spot Donghu to enjoy the spring.

The power depends on the oars. The rower sits on the back end, holding the oars clamped under the armpit with one hand, stepping on the end of the oar handle with both feet, stretching and shrinking the legs, and the oars hit the water up and down, and the speed can reach more than 10 kilometers per hour.

The course of the ship is controlled by hand oars. When the ship is moving, the boatman uses both scaffolding. Sometimes the boatman clamps the paddle used as a rudder and frees his hands. He can hold a bowl of wine in the quick and quick journey of the boat, and his head covers the black felt hat.

Enjoy the scenery along the way, occasionally reaching out to the boat, hitting the water and playing, which is very pleasant. Even if you lie in the boat, close your eyes and meditate, and listen quietly to the gurgling water at the bottom of the boat, it makes people feel very interesting.

According to folk legend, ancient Yue was originally a Ze country. Before the pond gate was built, the river directly connected to the sea. The "pigeon" lived in the sea and was fond of dragons. The dragon avoided it when he saw it. Therefore, the boatmen carved its image on the bow of the boat, so that the dragon dared not cause trouble, and the boat could be safe. On both sides of the bow, there were two stone piers carved lions, and the most exquisite one was made of white copper.

How many escalators should be taken when getting off the front cabin, there is a shelf on each side to place things. If you lay a board here, you can build a stage to make a watch; between the front cabin and the middle cabin, there is a small screen door for calligraphy and painting, written with poems such as "Cold rain runs into Wu at night" and "The moon sets, crows cry and frost is everywhere in the sky", with patterns such as plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemums; there are "Ten Scenery Window" on both sides of the cabin, where books or pastries can be placed; there are sleeping shops and stoves in the back cabin.

Whether walking or mooring, it is light and elegant when walking; it is alone or group, it is alone, it is alone, it is alone, it is alone, and it is vast. The black-sailed boat is the elves of the water town and the scenery of the water town.

Come to the legendary Sanwei Bookstore, a famous private school in Shaoxing City in the late Qing Dynasty. Lu Xun studied here from the age of 12 to 17. The great writer's seat was in the northeast corner of the study, and a hardwood desk was the original object Lu Xun had used.

Once, Lu Xun was late for some reason and was criticized by his husband. He engraved the early words in the upper right corner of the desk to encourage himself. The tutor Shou Jingwu was a square, simple and knowledgeable person. His character and academic spirit left an unforgettable impression on Lu Xun.

There are only forty square meters, and the plaque of Sanwei Bookstore is hung in the middle, written by Liang Tongshu, a famous calligrapher in the Qing Dynasty. The article from Baicaoyuan to Sanwei Bookstore said: Go out to the east, less than half a mile, walk across a stone bridge, and it is my husband's home. Entering through a black bamboo door, the third room is the study room. There is a plaque hanging in the middle and saying: Sanwei Bookstore.

When it comes to this, there are always two specialties. One is the rice wine that Lao Shaoxing feels uncomfortable if he doesn’t drink two sips a day, and the other is the thick and colorful soy sauce that he can’t live without for three meals a day.

Most foods elsewhere pay attention to the taste, and those with higher requirements will pursue the freshness of the ingredients and the exquisiteness of the dishes. In Shaoxing, food is born for wine. Almost all Shao-style delicacies, not to mention the complexity of the production process. As long as you can put wine, in the eyes of Shaoxing people, it is all good things.

Snacks seem to be delicious in some cities, with street flavors that belong to their own city, but cannot enter the elegant delicacies. Here, local snacks and meals are almost the same as those of the main meals. They can appear on the streets and alleys, or they can appear on the hotel tables through exquisite trays.

For example, the simple warm two bowls of wine written by Lu Xun, a stack of fennel beans will be able to achieve the food status of fennel beans in the hearts of the people of Shaoxing. When you feel warm in the stomach, the more you chew, the more delicious it becomes. Every restaurant where locals gather, there will be fennel beans that can be called their own signature.

The cooked fennel beans are green and yellow, with a tender and soft texture, and a sweet and fragrant taste. They have a unique flavor with chili sauce and sweet spicy sauce.

Shaoxing is really not big. After walking through two or three streets, it entered the old alleys of the stone road. The alleys were so narrow that a few rickshaws were wide. Most of the old houses had doors open, and the old atmosphere was revealed. The coachman said that most of the people living in it now were old people, and young people moved into high-rise buildings. He was quite sighing, which surprised the background of this small town.

Instead of going to Shenyuan, I came to Qingteng Bookstore. I entered a courtyard with only a few feet in size, which was not considered a garden, but just a yard. Once I fell, there were more than ten green bamboos, and then two or three lush banana trees. There were vine trellis beside the stone path, and there were low old wells walking several steps. The wellhead was scattered and rusty moss stains were grown.

There is a stone platform under the tall plain wall of the bookstore, and several books of flowers, plants, pots and stones are placed. There are three words embedded on the wall, which is called Zizai Rock. The atmosphere is very good, silent, and it is not deliberately blocked, but it is deep in the hustle and bustle outside.

There is a small square pool in front of the house, which stretches straight down to the bottom of the house. There are more than ten pieces of brocade scales swimming leisurely. A green square stone foundation under the house is also standing in the water, with the three words "Big Pigeon" engraved on it. The main pillar is a scene of great and intense contours, but it is not expected to be established in a quiet square inch. The management of the ancients was really out of reach.

Plants, trees, fish, insects, water and stones, calligraphy, literature, and human spirit are three-dimensionally in this corner of only ten square meters, and are moving and still, narrating, like mustard seeds that contain the universe. Only Chinese civilization can do such skills.

There is only a rectangular small patio left behind. A olive tree is planted at each corner. It is said that one is golden osmanthus and the other is silver osmanthus. Unfortunately, it is not time to bloom now, and I can only appreciate the coolness brought by the shade of the trees.

Some sunlight accidentally penetrated and reflected on the stone slab floor, like inexplicable words floating. Against the wall is a long stone table, which is very clumsy and heavy, just a few rough large stone strips are built, and a few small round stones with equal clumsy and heavy piles are piled down below.
