This place is an alternative. All those who enter and exit Motuo can experience the drastic changes in hot and cold within dozens of kilometers, or even a few kilometers, as if winter and summer can change in an instant.

This is a tropical jungle embedded in the snowy plateau. The deepest and most dangerous Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is hidden deep in the world. Slash-and-burn planting, collecting fishing and hunting means abundant resources and simple and natural happiness.

Tropical jungles grow wildly at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, and Muzhai villages are scattered deep in the canyon with clouds. The surrounding banana trees sway, bamboo forests sway, and small fields of farmland dotted them.

However, only after a difficult and sinister journey like hell can we reach this isolated paradise.

The paradise in the minds of every hiker is difficult to challenge and beautiful scenery. From the original forest to the snow-capped grassland, from the alpine canyon to the cable suspension bridge, you will experience it through the rapids, passing through the leeches, heavy rain, scorching sun, and rainforest...

The tour guide even said that we should not talk about the road in front of those who have been to Motuo, because there is no more difficult road in this world than to get here.

From Pai Zhen to the entrance of Songlin, I started a real hike. There was no signal on the whole phone, and the phone only had the function of taking photos. There was no phone number, no WeChat, no circle of friends, only the sound of shoe soles hitting stones, the shrill sound of birds in the primitive deep forest, and the gurgling water flowing when I fell asleep with the wet quilt...

The slope of the first step on the snow mountain is more than 65, and the gravel road is climbing straight up by hundreds of meters at an altitude. If it is May and June, large areas of snow will begin to appear on the hillside, and the entire top of the mountain is covered with ice and snow, making it easy to get lost. The slope of the first step is obviously eased upwards. If you are lucky, you can still see snow lotus.

The snow in Duoxunla Snow Mountain does not melt all year round. Even within a few months of opening the mountain, rain, snow, hail and fog come at any time. The difficulty of climbing even exceeds the peaks of five or six thousand meters. Many migrant workers and horses who carry weight will stay at the mountain pass forever. Therefore, the locals call it the gates of hell on the road to Motuo.

After walking through this section, you can see a stream called Duoxun River where the waterfalls gather. Then look for the trails and walk down the mountain for a dirt road, and you can reach the camping point on the first day.

The top of the mountain is among the clouds, the foot of the mountain is by the river, and there are four seasons a day, and ten miles apart in different days.

The night here is very quiet. The mountains in the east block the rising moon. The surroundings are extremely dark. Looking up at the starry sky above your head, it seems that it just lives in the bottomless black hole of the universe.

Stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, deep in the deep mountains of the border. Although I don’t believe that it can cleanse the soul, it can at least make people lose themselves. The next morning, I walked out of the Rag hut and entered the dense jungle. I followed the trails and saw tall green trees on both sides. I kept walking through the dense forests. Many roads were walking along the streams, and the trails were more obvious.

The main risks of this section of the road are slippery road conditions, many rocky streams, careful sprains, slip and fall, and pay special attention to protecting your knees.

The Metuo hiking line is remote and primitive, with few people and good ecological environment. Many animals survive and reproduce here, such as black bears, Bengal tigers, etc., and there are particularly many snakes.

The snow-capped mountains on both sides of the canyon and the rich Indian Ocean water vapor flowing upstream along the Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon bring a lot of water resources to the mysterious plateau island of Medog and also nurture this rare subtropical primeval forest in China.

According to legend, there are tsampa trees everywhere in Motuo, milk springs everywhere, cheese flowing even in the river water, no servants, no exploitation and fraud. It is a paradise on earth that does not grow barley, does not raise yaks, butter, does not build houses and live in, so it attracts the migration of the first Menba people.

Now it has been passed down for more than ten generations, with a total of seven or eight thousand people. The Menba tribe believes in all things with spirits, worships the spirits of gods and earth, and the spirits of mountains and ghosts. Thousands of miles away from the border, the wilderness, surrounded the fire pit and roast the fire. Listening to the story of the Menba girl Lazong, an unforgettable experience for life.

On the third day, I set off from the cottage of the La Zong family and passed a winding wading path, I arrived at the landslide area No. 1. The slope was relatively large and covered with gravel. It would be inconvenient to use trekking poles here.

Passing through the landslide area and reaching the tiger's mouth, this is a plank road dug manually on the hillside of the Duoxunla River Canyon. It is as wide as rice or as narrow as one foot. It is the only necessary passage from Motuo to Linzhi.

From a distance, strange rocks hanging on the cliff of the curved plank road, as if the tiger's mouth was opened with a big mouth. Below it is the turbulent Duoxangla River. The top of the plank road is melting in snow and water all year round, the road is slippery, landslides, and rocks fall frequently, so you must be careful.

To be honest, there are two factors that make people unforgettable to walk here for a lifetime, in addition to today's landslide, there are countless heart-wrenching leeches.

The Modo leeches are mainly distributed in an altitude of 1,300-2,000 meters, especially on sunny slopes at an altitude of 1,600 meters. The leaves and grass are densely packed. The leeches are crossed as quickly as possible and do not stay for no reason. And the leeches will continue to bleed for a few minutes after being pulled down.

Today's journey is easier. From the winding mountain road to the mountainside, passing by the houses, and then to the foot of the mountain, passing by several bridges on the way, finally seeing a large area of ​​houses and arriving in Motuo County. The winding mountain road is endless, and it is a lifelong desperate road that is unforgettable...
