Chapter 325: Unexpected Joy

I heard that leopards often appear in the nearby primeval forests. To make up for the regret, local hunters were hired as tour guides, and everyone drove deep into the unmanned land.

The darkness was like a cloak, only a small piece of tropical forest was briefly illuminated by headlights. The last few rains in the rainy season had just fallen, and the air was humid and heavy.

An impala looked up at everyone passing by, then disappeared into the shadow behind him, a civet passed by calmly, everything was brand new: breath, animals, sounds, and was about to explore a brand new country.

The lush bushes are covered with ruts on both sides, occasionally strangely disconnecting, revealing puddles or small grasslands. The birds are back and forth, and they blink through the bushes lightly. The gray banana chrysanthemum stands on the low-cola bean treetops, shouting Gwy-Gwy.

Hornbills flew up from the front of the car, several hyenas even clattered outside the window, civets for food among the rustling leaves, and occasionally even lions would come.

The local guide is called Alice, and no one remembers the origin of the name. No one knows its age. Some say it is ten years old, and some say it is fifteen. No matter what, it is considered an old age for a leopard.

It was said that its grandmother, Marmalad, had also enjoyed the same reputation. Neither Alice nor Marmalad were ordinary African leopards. They hunted during the day and were completely untreated by cars.

Leopards are masters of disguise. Only when other animals are frightened and screamed by the approach of leopards, can people realize the existence of leopards. Black long-tailed monkeys will always first discover the movement of leopards, making long and short warning screams, and then baboons will also scream.

As for the screams of guinea fowls and the chirping sounds of impala, sometimes even a warthog with no attack power will frighten them. Leopards always follow impala in broad daylight, so they are not very sensitive.

The strong sunlight shone directly, and most animals began their most active time of the day. When the driver was turning, a leopard was walking towards everyone as if nothing had happened.

Everyone was excited, and this was Alice. She only saw her eyes staring at everyone, but there was no aggressiveness in her eyes. Instead, she pricked up her ears and looked for the sound of her prey.

It was only a foot away, as if it did not exist. Just as Johnson wanted to take a photo, it quickly disappeared and hid in the bushes.

It was almost dusk and the light became dimmering. Everyone decided to drive towards the main road. They magically discovered that Alice was actually lying relaxed by the bushes. They twisted the searchlight and let the light sweep through the clearing. They found that there was a little flash behind Alice, which was another pair of leopard eyes.

Behind him was a young leopard that had just been two weeks old. His body was not much bigger than a domestic cat, and his claws and ears were out of proportion. The young leopard quickly retreated into the bushes, and the mother and son disappeared again.

Everyone was very excited, but they didn't expect to see one big and one small, especially Johnson Johnson, who took a photo and completed the last piece of the puzzle completely.

Not far away, an unlucky impala was hunted by Alice and hung on the tree. The power of the leopard is always amazing. Female leopards like Alice weigh about 50 kilograms, while adult males can weigh up to 65 kilograms.

It is not easy to drag a guy heavier than himself to a tree with his teeth for 25 feet and then drag it to a tree. Every time I see such a scene, I can't help but curse the hyena.

Think about it, the leopard lurks, tracks, raids, kills prey quickly, and then drags the huge prey to hide in a safe place as soon as possible. It is all because once a hyena discovers an animal frightened by the leopard, it will appear in a hurry, steals the prey and gets it for nothing.

This cub should be Alice's fourth child known to him. Because he is old, it is likely to be the last child. However, Alice brings eight children to the world, and its lineage will continue in this land.

A trip to Africa was finally left to Cape Town. A city that is very suitable for vacation. Living here really doesn’t feel like you are in Africa, as if this is a paradise in Africa.

Locals rarely say that they are South Africans. If you ask him, he will definitely tell you that he is Cape Town, and this urban pride may be the same as that of Parisians and New Yorkers.

The reason for choosing this place is Ding Mengyao said that it is also a famous grape production place. The grapes grow in the brilliant sunshine of Africa. In addition, the cold air coming from Antarctica at night makes the temperature difference between day and night become relatively large, which is very conducive to the growth of grapes.

Therefore, Cape Town has more than 1,000 wineries, and the locations of these wineries are not far from Cape Town, and you can drive to it in 40 minutes. Some of them also provide homestay services. Living in wineries, drinking when you wake up is simply drunk and dreaming.

The Tianjie Manor was moved into Tianjie Manor, which originated in 1692. It is one of the oldest Cape Dutch manors. The entire manor covers an area of more than 10,000 acres. The owner is Koosbekker. He bought the entire manor in 2007 and then expanded it, making the current manor area several times larger than before.

The old man bought the manor for his wife at that time, which can be said to be a witness to love. When he woke up in the morning, he looked from the kitchen with a glass exterior in the room, and the scenery was so beautiful that it made people feel unreal. The warm sunshine, the blue sky, and the endless green.

When I came to the restaurant, all the food and wine were produced by the manor themselves. The food and fruits placed on the table were picked from the plantation early in the morning and processed into food and served in just a few hours.

Especially tea leaves, called Louis Boss tea, is also called the oxidant tea, and together with gold and diamonds, it is called the Three Treasures of South Africa.

After eating and drinking, I started to wander around. I could see many grape trellis everywhere. It was already autumn and the grapes had been harvested. Follow the winemaker to the next tasting room, saying it was a tasting room, but it was also a restaurant with a full glass house. Outside the restaurant is the grape planting site, which can be said to be quite integrated into nature.

I gave five wines to Johnson for review, namely Vioni, Muhe White Rosé, Babylonian King, Shadoni and Syrah.

Muhe White Pink, this wine is just like the name, it is a love pink, mixed with the sweet aroma of roses and strawberries, and the taste is sweet.

Vioni, as the second wine to try, has a rich taste and a charming floral fragrance, just like the taste of spring, with a rich taste.

Shadoni is mixed with nuts, cream, and honeydew melon aromas, which have a complex scent, so the taste is also very full and the aftertaste is long.

Syrah has an elegant aroma. What is amazing is that Syrah has such delicate tannins, like velvet, and it feels like every cell in the mouth is instantly healed.
