One hundred and forty-three altars complete the angel ring
Since returning to the Sutra Library again, Ji Yu has not yet left the building, and has only compiled and summarized the scriptures in each sutra building at a time. From the Sandong Division to the Sanxuan Division, there are tens of thousands of scriptures in these two, but they have been summarized and sorted out by Ji Yu to check for omissions and fill in the gaps. His own Taoism has also gradually improved as he continues to read the scriptures.
Time flies, and three years have passed in a blink of an eye. On the third floor of the Japanese Yuan Chen Pavilion, in the Bagua bookshelf, Ji Yu sat cross-legged in the cushion, closed his eyes to cultivate his nature, listened to the birds singing outside the window, visualized Yuan Chen’s dormitory, and his sword was unsheathed on his knees, and stroked it with his hands.
Two invisible clear qi rush out from the nose and interact with the sword. A trace of golden qi is rolled into the nose and the nose exhales out the invisible clear qi melts like a sword. The reflected sword becomes clearer and thinner, and gradually sharper.
A breeze caressed, Ji Yu's hair was blown up by the wind. The wind stopped and his hair fell back, but it was three inches away from the sword's edge, and it broke into two pieces silently. After several broken silks fell to the ground, another breeze was poured over, and it turned into powder and gradually disappeared with the wind.
Shaoqing Ji Yu opened his eyes and gently stroked the sword spine with his hand. The sword body seemed to be whispering lightly. Ji Yu smiled with a smile, "When one or two orifices are opened, the sword body is open, but it is useless to me. Then follow my sword technique to enter the realm of transformation, then let's follow nature."
At this time, Ji Yu could use plants, trees, bamboo and stones to swing like a sword. Within ten steps, a sword shone with cold light, and it was as easy to take a person's head as if he was taking a pouch.
Turning over the sword edge and putting it into the sheath, going downstairs to push open the door of Yuanchen Tower, and walking outside, he was about to go to Dongyuan Tower to compile scriptures, but he saw the Taoist people in each of the scriptures walking hurriedly. Ji Yu's heart sank, and he had already guessed the worst result in his heart.
Ji Yu pulled a young Taoist priest in green and asked anxiously, "What happened? Why did the people in the corridors run hurriedly, regardless of the Taoist demeanor."
"Report to Master Yushu, today... today, the old abbot sat on the cushion in the cottage of the temple..." The Taoist Qingyi hurriedly bowed and turned to silence with sadness.
"What... Master Zhiqing..." Ji Yu shouted sadly, let go of Taoist Qingyi and walked quickly outside the pavilion. In fact, Ji Yu had a long guess in his heart that the old abbot could no longer leave the courtyard a month ago. Even when Ji Yu went to see him, he could no longer recognize anyone.
Ji Yu also expected it, but now that he knew exactly this result, his peace in his heart was broken again. It turned out that he had not reached the state of tranquility in the end. Although he was not afraid of his own life and death, he still couldn't help but feel sad from the bottom of his heart when facing his relatives and friends' life and death.
When they entered the courtyard, there were a group of Taoist priests who were densely packed with three layers inside and three layers outside. When they saw the Taoist priest Ji Yu coming over, they all made way.
When he walked into the courtyard, dozens of Gao Dao wearing lotus fish tail crowns were surrounding the body of the old abbot and chanting the scriptures. When he saw Ji Yu coming over, everyone greeted each other, including the old Taoist Zhisheng and several old friends in the Danding Courtyard, all greeted Ji Yu with red eyes.
Ji Yu looked at the old abbot sitting cross-legged, pinching his hands and leaving with a smile. Ji Yu said nothing for a long time, recalling the little things that happened in his eyes. The old abbot's guidance and teachings to him had severely punished, tolerated and protected.
Ji Yu found that he had never seen through this old man who had a little Alzheimer's disease and loved to hit him the most.
Looking at the Taoists around him with different faces, they were sad, happy, quiet, weeping, or sad, like a picture of sentient beings. Ji Yu closed his mind and saw the words that the old abbot gave people. Yin and Yang were circulating again and again, and how can they live or die? People rely on the innate clear qi to be transformed into eternal life, but they only transformed into living beings with the innate clear qi.
At this moment, Ji Yu completely realized that the yin and yang of heaven and earth, the root of all qi, neither increasing nor decreasing, the fundamental source, after all, Nirvana, Ji Yu suddenly opened his eyes and laughed in everyone's surprised eyes, "Okay, OK, OK, it's rare to realize the root of it in billions of kalpas, this qi exists from the source forever. The earth of non-birth and death, the whole qi and the whole spirit are true, good...hahaha..."
After saying that, Ji Yu shook his head and walked away with his hands behind his back in his eyes, Gao Gong Jinghua, a veteran Taoist in Dandingyuan said in surprise, "What's wrong with Master Yushu?"
"Who knows what's wrong with him? Maybe it's a sad transition and anger." The pharaoh Gao Gongzhi of the Ancestral Palace also spoke.
Everyone looked at each other for a while and didn't understand what Ji Yu meant, so they had to continue to take charge of the funeral of the old abbot, but no one knew what Ji Yu had learned about what the old abbot had once enlightened.
It was also since that day that there were fewer martial arts practitioners who practice swords and boxing every day in the Sutra Library, but there were more old Taoists who were fond of books and life beside the bookshelf of the Sutra Library.
Ten years of cold windows are gone, and the years are like water flowing.
The prosperity is too much and the fatigue is gone, leaving only the woolly and pale head.
More than ten years passed by. In addition to the order to build a house that delivered food every day, almost even the departments of the Sutra Hall had forgotten that there was Yushu in the Sutra Hall. I only remember an old Taoist, whose hair was gray and bearded, searched for scriptures and read scriptures everywhere, and edited scriptures, but the dragon always saw the head but didn't see the tail, and didn't like to answer. In the morning, in Dongxuan Tower, and in the evening, he ran into him reading scriptures in Taihua Tower.
Of course, not only does the newcomer know who this old Taoist is, but Ji Yu's former acquaintance always cares about him, such as the current Taoist Jingxuan, the Jing Pavilion, and the elderly Taoist in various courtyards. Previously, he often went to the Jing Pavilion to look for Ji Yu to discuss the Tao.
From the initial arguments to the end of listening to the preaching scriptures, the old Taoists felt that they could not see through Yushu. At first, they could still debate the classics, but later they felt that their Taoism became more and more vague. Instead of discussing the Tao, they were like observing the sun, moon, stars, and the vicissitudes of the world. Gradually, fewer people were looking for him.
Until this day, Ji Yu, who had been reading the scriptures for ten years, wore a white light blue Taoist dress, had a long white hair on his head, a double bun, a lotus fish tail crown, five long beards under his chin, and walked out of the Jing Pavilion with his hands on his back.
The Taoist along the way looked at the Gao Dao wearing a lotus crown in a very strange way, but couldn't remember who it was, so he had to bow to Ji Yu with his head down. The old Taoist who had been practicing for many years recognized Ji Yu and quickly explained to the surroundings:
"This is Yushu Dao Master who loves sutras and lives. He is the highest level of master of our Sutra Pavilion except for the master of the Sutra Pavilion, Elder Jingxuan, who has the highest level of precepts. However, Yushu Dao Master who always lives in the Sutra Tower to read the sutras and rarely comes out."
Ji Yu shook his head and smiled, walked to Shangqing Palace with his hands behind his back, went straight into the abbot's house, and greeted the current abbot Jingren Daoye. Yes, after the old abbot sat in the transformation, the high-level abbot pushed the fat Taoist Jingren who was blocking the Shangqing Palace with a bench when Ji Yu entered the door, while the thin Taoist Jingli was transferred to Chengzeguan to preside over.
After getting along many times later, Ji Yu learned that this Jingren Daoye was not a mean person who was greedy and despised and loved money back then.
On the contrary, he is very famous in the eyes of all the great Taoists, respectful, simple, generous and kind, able to handle and regulate the affairs of each institute, and his Taoist practice is also unfathomable, so he recommended it to each institute as the new abbot of the Shangqing General Hall.
Seeing Ji Yu coming, Jingren arranged for tea with the little child, and sat opposite Ji Yu and said, "Fellow Taoist Yushu has been staying in Jing Pavilion for many years. This time, he is really a rare guest. The old Taoist only feels that his lushness is shining, haha..."
"You are polite, isn't it time to keep the precepts again in a blink of an eye? I'm here to ask, can I still hold the precepts of the immortals?" Ji Yu also bowed with a smile.
Jingren shook her fat figure and sat opposite Ji Yu and smiled slightly. The flesh on her face almost covered her small eyes. After a while, she slowly spoke:
"This depends on you, fellow Taoist Yushu. The examination of the Jing Pavilion has been completed. All the high-level Taoists have a good reputation for the Taoists. They all say that during the period of keeping the precepts, you should be careful in your words and deeds, respect your fellow Taoists, and be dedicated to compiling classics. You have never violated the precepts. A few days ago, Master Zhenlu also wrote the yao hexagram for the only thirty-six great precepts left in the three palaces and more than ten contemporaries. Only four people in the ancestor's hexagram have held the great precepts, and one of them is Yushu."
Ji Yu asked with some concern, "Why do you think of me? Who are the other three?"
"You are the Taoist Master Lu Yue, the Taoist Master of Xuanguan, the Taoist Master of Yuli, the Taoist Master Luo Xuan, the Taoist Master of Huoling in Tiantai Palace, and the Taoist Master of Yushu." Jingren said to Ji Yu with a stern face:
"The other thirty-two Taoist priests have already entered the Biyou Palace. Now I'm waiting for the choice of Dao Master Yushu. If you are anxious to learn immortality, the old Taoist will burn a pillar of Xinxiang, and one of the immortals will come down to lead the Taoist fellow to the Biyou Palace in Zizhiya to open the predecessor.
If you still want to keep the precepts, I will burn the incense of faith and ask the immortals who are ethical in the palace to come down and give you the great precepts of immortals. It depends entirely on your own choice.”
Ji Yu pondered for a moment and said firmly, "I chose to continue to keep the Great Ring of the Immortals. I wonder how the others chose it."
Taoist Jingren nodded in agreement after hearing this, and then said, "Anyway, the great decree of the Great Decree of the Heavenly Immortals has passed, it's okay to try this great decree of the Heavenly Immortals. Taoist Master Huo Ling has been accepted as his disciple by Biyou Shangxian. He has already been on Zizhi Cliff ten months ago. Master Yuli also chose to keep the Great Decree of the Heavenly Immortals. No news has been heard from Master Yuhua."
———
In a blink of an eye, ten months later, Ji Yu was invited to keep the Three Perfect Heavenly Immortal Rings at the Back Mountain Altar of Shangqing Palace, and news came from Lu Yue to continue to keep the Great Rings.
On this day, the General Altar gathered hundreds of high-spirited Taoists in the three palaces of Penglai. After layers of selection and keeping precepts, the three altars of Heavenly Immortals that had not been opened for hundreds of years were also set up. The main altars were surrounded by yellow prayer flags, Dharma banners, and five-colored flags and large canopies were erected, and the three palaces held rituals and rituals.
The flag was waving, the reeds were erected, the gongs and drums, golden bells, Dharma bells, and Dharma seals. The treasures of each palace were taken out. Ji Yu and the other two stood under the Huagai Sutra Tower, and hundreds of high roads surrounded the chanting of the Sutra.
The three pillars of sandalwood burned out, and the auspicious time had arrived. The Taoists bowed to the ground and kowtowed, and the ancestors bowed to the next Ji Yu and the other three.
When I was young, colorful clouds rose everywhere in the sky, and the auspicious aura of Penglai was floating. A golden bridge fell from the Biyou Palace on the top of the mountain. The statue of the ancestor was seen in the palace. The immortals at the seat nodded to the three people, waved their hands, smiled, nodded, or pointed at them.
"The great way is extraordinary, the mysterious is even more mysterious. Who can understand it thoroughly? See the innate world at a glance?"
A Taoist sang on the Jinqiao Bridge, stepped on the lotus, and the clouds above his head fell into the reeds. In an instant, the colorful mist and auspicious air of the sky condensed and turned into calmness. The golden bridge also retracted into the palace.
The face of this life is like a blue indigo, with red hair and curly beard, and its beard stands like a steel needle. It runs in a big blue road, with a strip of water and fire on its waist, and is full of colorful auspiciousness. It is supported by golden light in its body. It holds the whisk in its hand and slowly walks out of the reed puppet, saying to the high Taoist all around, "Please get up and watch the ceremony, fellow Taoists, please stand up and watch the ceremony."
Then he walked into the Huagai Sutra, and helped Ji Yu and the other two who were bent to welcome him, and smiled gently, "The three fellow Taoists are already among us, why should we be so polite? I will go to the Qizhen, and the Immortal Qiushou is here. The three Taoists do not need to be polite. In the future, I will call me "Qiushou Dao" and you will be the one."
The three of them said they didn't dare to put their hem again, and they respectfully called the Supreme Immortal. The face of the bearded fairy darkened, and they pretended to be unhappy and said, "As sooner or later, the three of us are our guests in the palace. If they are so polite, they will not give me my face."
"I've seen... Brother Qiushou..."
"Meet Brother Dao..."
The three of them were unable to do so, so they had to bow their heads and bow their heads, and instead call them Shangxian, and become the brother of Qiushou Dao.
Qiushouxian then happily agreed and returned the favor to the three of them one by one, "Brothers of Taoism are ready, then start to teach the Three Altars of Perfect Heavenly Immortal Rings."
After Qiushouxian said that, he returned to Lupeng to watch the ceremony. Abbot Jingren bowed to Lupeng and Zizhi Cliff and said to the three:
"The three altars of perfect immortals' great rings, the first ring is confused with clouds and natures, says:
All methods, all temperaments and habits are confusing.
All killing, stealing, adultery and lying are confusing nature.
All greed, anger, ignorance, love is the nature of obscuring clouds and even a thought without realizing it, it is the nature of obscuring clouds and clouds.
Even focusing on seeking and failing to be unable is confusing nature.
Even if you are attached to the environment, thoughts, and mind, you will be confused about the nature of clouds.
The end must be concealed and infinite, and the great general holding is perfect and bright.
The light exceeds the wisdom sun, it is called the golden elixir, and it is called the Xuanzai...
The Three Vehicles said:
This is called the great way of heaven and immortals, and the wonderful combination of the three vehicles. People in that world regard meditation as emptiness.
Yin but not Yang is the unknown way of true Zen. The five yins are purified.
It is also like the world's Zen, and he is obsessed with his own sect. He often denounces Taoist sects as corpse guarding ghosts.
I falsely lead the ten kinds of heretics of the Shurangama Sutra. I am the method of practicing Taoism. I don’t know the three pure and wonderful methods. The combination of Zen and the mysterious, the saints and the truth. This is the only thing..."
"At this point, there are twenty-nine kinds of precepts in each of them, one has five precepts, five precepts, five practices, and five taboos, and it is combined into the three altars of perfect celestial immortal precepts. Do you, may you keep it..."
"I have a master, a great immortal, and my disciples can hold it..." Ji Yu and the other two received precept books, magic tools, fairy cranes, Beidou Bagua robes, lotus flowers, crane wings, Ruyi Dharma crowns representing Daluo Immortals, and other objects of the real people of the celestial immortals' rings.
Then Qiushou Xian personally wore the Ruyi Lotus Crown for the three of them, put on the Great Red Eight Trigrams Clothes, the Crane and the Clouds, and the three of them said, "I wish the three fellow Taoists to successfully uphold the Great Precepts of the Heavenly Immortals, and to pass on the Supreme Wonderful Vehicle Great Dharma. If you give the precepts, you will pass. I will go first."
After saying that, the immortal turned into a rainbow light and flew away directly. The Taoists also congratulated Ji Yu and the other two, including the hosts of each temple, the abbot, and Gao Gong, who all called the three people real people.
It is because few people have kept this celestial immortal precept since ancient times. Anyone who cannot hold it can retreat and be second, and can also be fully kept by keeping the celestial great precept. Shangbiyou Palace is already warm, and at least he can obtain the celestial and superior great Dharma.
However, this Biyou has been opened for thousands of years. Apart from the Taoist Master of the First Immortal Duobao, no one has ever held the Great Ring of the Heavenly Immortal on the surface.
There are more than one person who has taught the celestial immortal method, but there are countless immortal families under Biyou, and they cannot reach the number of ten fingers when practicing celestial immortals.
This is exactly:
True heart and quiet path are the sect,
It’s like the same moon as the treasure in that place.
Sweep away the clouds without any confusion,
A round of light fills the vast void.
