Chapter 233 Talk to Aunt Chang

At around 4:00 on the 28th day of the twelfth lunar month, Chang Dagu and his daughter Bai Mudan finished their meal early and put on makeup and then took a rickshaw to the Xile Teahouse with a playmaker.

In the past two years, I have been so unstoppable every day.

The two of them heard the noise coming from inside at the entrance of the Xile Teahouse.

The Chinese New Year is about to celebrate. After the New Year, according to the old rules, we will have to rest until the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. There will be at least half a month without a place to listen to the opera.

So the customer has been full these days very early. This is the best time of business in the year.

Bai Mudan walked in front with the small drum that she beat while singing the big drum book. Aunt Chang followed behind with a drum stand.

Bai Mudan just walked into the door of Xile Teahouse and happened to face a woman coming out from inside, and the two almost collided.

Wherever Bai Mudan hid, the woman hid there. The two women shook two or three times in a row and then stood up and down at the same time, looking up and down a few times at the same time, and cursed the fairy in their hearts!

Bai Mudan stopped and watched the woman walk around her and walk out of the teahouse.

Yaohong swayed her slim waist and walked out of the Xile Teahouse and turned two streets into an alley. She whispered to a man squatting on the ground and smoking and said, "Where is she good-looking? She is as fat as a pig!"

Qian Xiaobao threw the cigarette butt on the ground and asked, "Do you pigs have double eyelids?"

Yaohong stretched out her left hand and turned the ring on her index finger with her right hand. There was a sharp bump on the ring. She turned the bump from exposed to the palm of her hand.

Qian Xiaobao handed Yao Hong the cigarette and lighter and said, "Smoke one before leaving."

Yaohong took the cigarette case and lighter. Her fingers squirted under the cigarette case, and a cigarette popped out of the cigarette case.

Yao Hong opened her mouth and held the cigarette in her mouth. Then she lit the cigarette with a click.

After taking a long breath of cigarette, two slender columns of cigarettes spewed out of Yaohong's nostrils. She turned her hand and stuffed the cigarette case and lighter into the pocket of the cotton cheongsam's waist.

"You really don't treat yourself as an outsider. Return it to me!" Qian Xiaobao said.

Yaohong took out the cigarette box again and threw it to Qian Xiaobao.

"Do you know how many cigarettes can that lighter buy? Return the lighter to me!" Qian Xiaobao yelled.

Yaohong put in Qian Xiaobao raised his elbow and exposed his slim waist and said, "You can get it yourself!"

The cotton cheongsam is particularly slim and is tightly attached to Yaohong's body.

Qian Xiaobao stretched out his hand and wanted to take it out, but he couldn't do it anyway.

"Okay, I'll give you the lighter! This is the last time we two have done business, and there is no next time!" Qian Xiaobao said angrily.

"If you use it, throw it away. There is no good thing for the man!" Yao Hong cursed.

"You damn girl, you have some verbal eloquence! Don't talk nonsense. Have I touched you with one finger?" Qian Xiaobao said.

"So you are not a good thing!" Yao Hong said hatefully. Then she turned around and stepped on Gaden's high-heeled leather shoes and left.

Qian Xiaobao looked at Yao Hong who was leaving in a daze and said for a long time: "I'm greedy for my lighter and scold me, who are you?"

Now the boss in the teahouse treats Aunt Chang like a mother. Every night, Bai Mudan is arranged to be the first to appear.

He was afraid that Aunt Chang would also send him into the fence to have a jail.

Another advantage here is that you sing first and leave first. Let the mother and daughter leave the teahouse soon and everyone can sing and listen to the opera with peace of mind.

Aunt Chang put the drum stand in front of the stage. Bai Mudan placed the drum stand on the drum stand. The piano player sat behind her and had already adjusted the strings and was about to start singing.

Bai Mudan cleared her throat and swept her around the audience with her rippling eyes to start singing.

Tonight she was going to sing a red-hot part in the West Chamber. But when she hit the drum with a drum hammer, she was stunned.

The small drum that was supposed to be booming made a booming sound.

Everyone who listened to the opera in the audience also heard something was wrong, and a buzzing sound suddenly sounded.

Aunt Chang has more experience than Bai Mudan. She quickly walked out of the backstage and came to the drum stand.

She lowered her head and carefully checked the skin of the drum. She checked one side, turned over and checked the other side. Finally, she found a small hole in the skin!

"Why does this look like someone stabbed it?" said Aunt Chang.

"Impossible, I hardly left my hand with this drum." Bai Mudan said.

Now isn't the time for two people to stand here to figure out how the drum was broken. There are still two or three hundred people waiting to listen to the opera.

Aunt Chang had no choice but to carry the drum stand and Bai Mudan to the backstage.

"Shopkeeper, please change people quickly." Aunt Chang said helplessly to the teahouse owner.

"Okay, I'll arrange for someone else to take over!" said the boss.

The second one who was going to be the second one to go out to save the scene immediately.

The boss came back and said to Aunt Chang, "Auntie, what should I do tomorrow if this is broken? Otherwise, you two will not be able to use it at 29. Have a good New Year at home! How about I give the New Year to Miss Bai in advance?"

According to the rules, I sang a play in the teahouse for a year. In the year, I had to give each artist a red envelope.

When he heard the boss's words, Aunt Chang was not grateful. Her eyes first stared at the boss and then scanned everyone in the backstage.

"When I find out who secretly ruined my good deeds, I, Aunt Chang, will never let you go!" Aunt Chang said gritting her teeth.

Because the sound was too loud, both the front desk performers and those who listened to the opera heard it.

"It's not yet six o'clock now, I'll go to Baza City later. Even if I smash the door, I'll buy a new drum back!" Chang Dagu said angrily.

There is no way to encounter such a difficult and unaffected woman shopkeeper.

He had no choice but to nod his head with a smile and said, "Okay, okay! I will let Miss Bai sing the finale tonight!"

Aunt Chang stood up and said to Bai Mudan, "You are waiting for me here, I will come back within an hour to go to Baza City!" After that, she hurriedly left the Xile Teahouse.

When Aunt Chang arrived in Baza City, the merchants in Baza City had already closed the doors and windows and put them on the gates.

There are only one or two merchants selling things like sniff drums in Baza City. Chang Dagu came to the store with a good deal of knowledge and smashed the door hard for a long time, and finally opened the door again.

Ten minutes later, satisfied Aunt Chang hurriedly walked out of Baza City with a new drum.

But when she just walked out of Yaza City and wanted to go to the main street and shouted a rickshaw to rush back to the Xile Teahouse, a brick was slapped heavily on the back of her head in the dark.

Aunt Chang pounced forward.

A man rushed out of the darkness in time and caught her.

The cold wind was shaking on the wide ice surface of the Songhua River. Qian Xiaobao squatted in the weeds by the river to smoke. The aunt Chang, who was unconscious, fell beside him.
