21,21 Portraits(2/2)

There are several paper brocade boxes on Mr. Bao's table. The lids of the boxes are open and contain a set of tea sets.

The grand master counted and found that there were five boxes in total. Mr. Bao put several boxes together to form a square, but now there was still one corner missing. Mr. Bao was rummaging through the boxes, looking for something.

The Grand Master smiled slightly, with a flash of understanding in his eyes, "That's it."

Mr. Bao glanced at him, put the things in his hands back into the box, walked to the table and knocked on the table, "One is missing."

The Grand Master took the tea Bao Fu brought him and asked slowly, "A tea cup or a tea bowl?"

Master Bao looked at him and laughed, "You fat man, stop pretending. The point is not what is in the box, but these boxes."

The Grand Master put down the tea cup in his hand, touched his beard and nodded, "Where did you buy the tea in your Kaifeng Mansion? It tastes better than the tea in my Grand Master's Mansion!"

"My wife planted it herself." Mr. Bao snatched the tea cup from the grand master and asked, "Where is the box you are looking for? Where did you hide it?"

"Tsk." The Grand Master curled his lips, "Who would think of where things are hidden except you, the idiot like you? Why would I use a broken box? Cao Kui may not even have that in his hand!"

Mr. Bao touched his beard and said, "Guard Zhan said that the floor of Rouge Shop has been hollowed out. It seems that someone is looking for something."

The grand master nodded, "I also heard that Lao Cao found a lot of people to secretly go to the northwest to dig things under the ground. What is he looking for?"

Master Bao took out all the tea sets, leaving only a few empty boxes. He picked them up and opened the boxes, and asked the grand master, "Where did you get the wind from?"

The Grand Master raised his eyebrows and said, "Of course I have a way."

While talking, Mr. Bao opened a box and pulled out a small piece of browned and blackened wood from the bottom of the box. There were several marks on the wood, like lines made by ironing.

The grand master took it over and looked at it, while Master Bao opened the boxes one by one.

After the last box was dismantled, five pieces of wood were taken out, and when put together, it turned out to be a square with one corner missing.

When the Grand Master and Master Bao came together and took a look, they were both surprised.

"This is a painting!" The grand master pointed to the pattern made of wood pieces on the table, "It's a portrait of a woman!"

Master Bao squinted his eyes for a moment and asked, "Are you sure it's a woman?"

"Isn't this a woman? Is this a man?" The Grand Master pointed to the position of the character's neck in the portrait, "Look, she's still wearing a necklace!"

Master Bao looked carefully, "Is this a necklace? Why does it look like shackles?"

"Hey, are you sure there is only one piece missing?" The Grand Master pointed to the top and bottom of the portrait, "Why does it feel like the line suddenly broke? There should be a part left."

Master Bao thought for a moment, opened the drawer, and took out the "ink strip" that Zhan Zhao had given him, which he had found from the Taishi Mansion yesterday.

Mr. Bao placed the ink strips on the top, bottom, left and right of the portrait and tried it. When he found that nothing was suitable, he raised his head and looked at the Grand Master.

The Grand Master touched his chubby chin, "It doesn't look like an antique. It doesn't look very valuable. Why did Cao Kui find it? This piece of wood doesn't look too old..."

At this point, the Grand Master suddenly raised his head, and Master Bao also raised his head. The two looked at each other and both couldn't help but say "Oh."

At this moment, Xiao Bao Fu ran over and said, "Sir, Grand Master, Madam asked you if you want to eat pig's feet."

Master Bao and the Grand Master asked him, "Is Gongsun here?"

"Not here, the old man went to give lectures at Taixue." Bao Fu replied, "Tianzun and Yin Hou are here."

"Invite them two and tell them that I have antiques here."

Bao Fu agreed and ran out. After a while, he saw Yin Hou and Tianzun running over carrying a bowl.

"What good stuff is that?" Tianzun and Yin Hou moved to the table, grabbing a spoon and scooping out the soup.

When the two of them lowered their heads to look at the painted portrait, they both heard a "poof" sound, and the pig's trotter soup was sprayed all over the face of the "woman" in the portrait.

"Wow!" Tianzun pointed at the portrait with a spoon, "Isn't this the demon concubine!"

Yin Hou also frowned and looked at Master Bao and Master Pang, "Where did you two find this portrait?"

Master Bao and the Grand Master looked at each other and frowned.

The grand master asked the two elders, "So, the legend is true?"

Tianzun and Yinhou both raised their faces and looked at the sky.

"So Princess Salt Coffin is not a princess at all, but the demon concubine Yayan?" Master Bao asked.

Tianzun and Yin Hou were stunned for a moment, and then they both clapped their hands, "Yes! This makes sense!"

The Grand Master looked at the two of them helplessly, "Two old gods, don't you know?"

Tianzun shrugged and Yin Hou shook his head, "The only people who have really dealt with Yu Yan are the young master and the demon king."

"In the end, was she made into the Salt Coffin Princess?" Mr. Bao was curious, "I've never heard of it, and it's not recorded in history books."

"No." Tianzun asked Yin Hou.

"We were both young when Yu Yan died, and the demon king always used her to scare us." Yin Hou recalled, "Corresponding to the legend, the person who gave her death was Li C. The general who took her body away, wasn't he?

Is it Cao Mo?"

"Who is Cao Mo?" Grand Master and Master Bao were both curious.

"Cao Mo was a general under Li C. He was not a famous general, and his martial arts skills were average. After Li C killed Yu Yan, he asked him to send the body away. There seemed to be a Taoist priest who escorted the body with him. What happened next?

I no longer know."

"Does it have anything to do with salt?" Tianzun asked Yin Hou.

Yin Hou scratched his head, "It seems not..."

"Just ask the young master when we are eating later." Tianzun patted Mr. Bao, "You have a little idea, right?"

At the entrance of Liu Ji's gold shop, the Demon King arrived with two children and Zhan Zhao Bai Yutang.

As soon as he arrived at the door, he saw Lin Yehuo walking out of the gold shop.

Zhan Zhao quickly asked him, "Where are the robbers?"

Huofeng pointed at the opposite wall.

Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang looked back - okay! The four masked robbers were "embedded" in the wall of the restaurant opposite.

Zhan Zhao was helpless—as expected, there was no room left for him!

At this time, there were already a lot of people watching near the gold shop. I heard the crowd talking, "Were they also responsible for the robbery of several gold shops and banks before?"

Zhan Zhao was puzzled and asked Bai Yutang, "Have there been any robberies before?"

Fifth Master whispered, "Jinpu Qianzhuang basically has a background in the martial arts world. If there is a robbery, they will not publicize it, for fear of affecting the business or the reputation of the sect, right?"

"They're all wearing armbands!"

"Is he a martial artist?"

"Only Wu Sheng has this armband!"

"Master Zhan, arrest them quickly!"

"That's right, what if you become an official?"

Several robbers turned out to be martial arts students taking the exam, which obviously aroused public outrage.

Zhan Zhao felt something strange that he couldn't explain - if it was really a robbery by a martial artist, why would he wear an armband while covering his face?

Zhan Zhao stepped forward and wanted to pull the person down, take off the mask and have a look, but...

Suddenly there was a scream from the crowd.

The four people on the wall suddenly turned white, and then the fine white salt slipped from the wall. With a few "clicks", the four masks fell to the ground.

In the blink of an eye, four piles of salt appeared on the ground, and the four robbers on the wall disappeared.

The crowd was instantly confused, and even the people of Kaifeng who were accustomed to the world were shocked.

Lin Yehuo opened his eyes wide and looked at Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang - did you two perform tricks?

Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang watched the Demon King.

The demon king was "appreciating" the little fourth son in his arms, and the little Liangzi jumped up and said, "Again?! Is this some kind of martial arts that is easy to learn? How can anyone know it?!"

At this time, the most uneasy person was Gongsun in the gold shop.

Mr. Gongsun opened his mouth and wanted to rush out to take a closer look. But he was too hasty and tripped on the black cloth bag under his feet and fell. Gongsun's fall even brought the table over.

There were two tables in the gold shop. Originally there were two tables of gold pigs. The waiters had just put the gold pigs on one table, but the other table was still on the table.

Gongsun placed the table on the full table, and at the same time kicked down the black cloth bag, which knocked out a pile of golden pigs. Gongsun threw the golden pigs into the pile, and was immediately buried by the golden pigs that fell from the table.

Everyone turned around when they heard the noise and saw Mr. Gongsun sitting in a pile of golden pigs with several golden pigs in his arms. He looked stupidly ahead and muttered, "How is it possible! How is it possible!"

Xiao Liangzi looked up at Xiao Sizi - oh! So accurate, Jin'er!

The fourth son also touched his chin - oh! It turned out that he dreamed that his father fell into the pig pen, this is what it was like!

The demon king smiled slightly, put the little boy down, and picked up a small golden pig pendant that rolled to his feet. He shook it and it made a clicking sound.

The demon king gave the golden pig to the fourth son, "This is cute."

The fourth boy answered.
