Chapter 871 The Communist International

"General Secretary, your body doesn't matter?" Marshal Ustinov also wanted to express his concern. Although this is nonsense, it is better than saying nothing.

"It's okay, where is Comrade Chernenko?" Andropov replied. He had decided to undergo surgery. The work must be temporarily handled by others until his physical recovery is restored. Only the second secretary, Chernenko, is now qualified to handle the work of the entire Soviet Union.

"Comrade Chernenko is sick. I don't know if it's because of the Black Sea's discomfort or why. He is recuperating in the hospital in Sochi!" Selov replied, "But it shouldn't delay work. It only takes a few days to recover."

"That's good, I hope Comrade Chernenko will recover soon." Andropov thought for a moment, "What do you think about this obviously against our alliance? How do we fight back?"

"We cannot give in? If we are targeted so clearly, we will not respond. The whole world will think that we dare not fight in harmony with the United States!" Marshal Ustinov, Minister of Defense, said without thinking. As for how to fight back, he had no idea. He only expressed his attitude when speaking.

"Comrade Selov, what do you think?" Andropov then focused on Selov. During the Brezhnev era, Selov was in charge of the Soviet Union's strategic offensive direction and appeared in almost every hot spot. Compared with Marshal Ustinov, this matter is more important than the opinions of the KGB President.

Selov was silent for a moment, and spoke in Andropov's scrutiny, "Only one organization can confront the organization established by the United States, that is, it was disbanded in the simplest period of the Patriotic War..."

"Communist International?" Andropov spoke out what Serov did not say, and then fell into deep thought. If there were two people in the current Soviet Union who were familiar with how the Communist International operated, then there were only Andropov and Serov. Andropov had been in charge of contacting the central liaison ministers of the Communist Party and allies of various countries for a long time. He was equivalent to supporting the revolutions of other countries.

As for the KGB, it was because of the Intelligence Agency of the Nine-Countries of the European Communist Party that existed for a period of time after World War II. Tito suggested to Stalin to establish an international consultative body between the Communist Party of various countries. Stalin expressed his approval. Trumanism was out of the cage and the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union officially began, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union wrote a letter to the first secretary of the Workers' Party of Poland in the summer of the same year, asking him to convene a meeting of the Communist Party of some European countries to discuss strengthening the connection between the parties. The Polish party accepted it. The establishment meeting of the Intelligence Agency was held in Poland. Representatives of the Communist Party of the nine countries including the Soviet Union, Poland, South, Ronaldo, Hungary, Poland, Chek, France, Italy and other nine countries attended the meeting.

That's right, the French Communist Party and the Italian Communist Party were the most powerful Communist Party in Western Europe. They also joined the Nine-Country Intelligence Agency. Since it was an intelligence agency, the KGB certainly played a huge role in it at that time.

"Let the Communist Youth League publish an editorial to criticize the hostile attitude of Western European countries towards the Soviet Union." Andropov considered for a moment, "at the same time, let the Central Liaison Department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs contact friendly countries and parties, exchange opinions with a candid attitude, express the support needed by the Soviet Union at this stage, and strive for these brotherly parties. If Comrade Chernenko recovers health, he will immediately start preparing to rebuild the Communist International."

"I understand, General Secretary!" Shelov and Ustinov stood attentive at the same time, and after explaining to the hospital's leadership, they returned to their own departments. Before Andropov and Chernenko recovered, there would be a period when there was no general secretary, and neither the general secretary nor the second secretary could work during this period.

In fact, the Soviet Union has not had a fact and the General Secretary will be longer and longer. If Andropov and Chernenko have one thing in common, it is that both of them have very bad bodies.

Soon, the Communist Youth League of Truth severely condemned the establishment of the International Democratic League in London. It pointed out that this so-called international organization is a huge threat to the Soviet Union. The ruling parties in Western Europe and the United States carried out such an alliance without any concealment. It expressed its hostility to the Soviet Union, and even to the socialist international. The Soviet Union's counterattack will be fierce, and countries that are hostile to the Soviet Union will definitely pay the price for it.

While the Communist Youth League was fully committed to the fire of truth, the Soviet Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Central Liaison Department began to contact the Soviet allies and political parties with party relations with the Soviet Communist Party to obtain support for diplomatic work.

The Communist Youth League’s Pratyektra is too much. This International Democratic League originally stated that it opposes communism and socialism. The former is a country with the Soviet system and the latter is a country with the international socialist party. Therefore, after the establishment of this organization, not only did the Soviet Union criticize the organization, but even the Nordic countries and the social parties of various countries also complained about it, accusing Britain, the United States and Germany of intensifying the Cold War and putting the world into danger.

"Our Communist Party and the Socialist Party are different. The Socialist Party is a revolution in votes, while our Soviet Union is a revolution in guns!" Soviet Foreign Minister Gromiko said in response to this incident, "NATO countries do not respect the hard-won peace in the world. They choose to use confrontation to cover up the contradictions in their own countries. This is inevitable failure. Our counterattack will come soon."

At the KGB headquarters in Ruby Yangka Square, Selov stared at General Fedorchuk, the Minister of the Soviet Internal Affairs, without saying a word for a long time, suddenly said, "Did you do the ill thing about Comrade Chernenko?"

"Chairman, why do you say that? Comrade Chernenko's health is not good at all. It is normal for him to be hospitalized if he eats something bad. No one can find out the problem." General Fedorchuk denied it and refused to admit that this matter had something to do with him.

"Well, of course, if an old spy can still catch a handle in such a thing, it would be a failure." Selov groaned and whispered, "But the security department has strict standards to remind Chernenko that some things cannot be eaten and can escape the detection of the Ninth Bureau. But the question is, who can escape the defense of the KGB's Ninth Bureau and send food that can cause physical discomfort? Can command the General Administration? At least the senior vice chairman."

"You don't have to deny or admit it. This is my own suspicion. Whether you did it or not, I can pretend that this time I don't know. Chernenko's health is very poor. Just do your job in the Ministry of Internal Affairs." Selov did not hold General Fedorchuk accountable. He did not poison him, but took advantage of Chernenko's own disease. It did not cause any major harm. However, no one knows whether Chernenko's health will be worse because of this.

Chernenko stayed in the hospital for half a month before recovering, and then returned to Moscow from the Black Sea. It was almost the end of April, and Andropov, whose condition worsened, was still receiving treatment. Selov, Ustinov, and Gromiko could only let the second secretary read the prepared information.

"We have communicated with Warsaw Pact countries and exchanged with some political parties. The Central Liaison Department has also completed it. Now Reagan is in a state of integration of international forces. The establishment of the Communist International is imminent, and General Secretary Andropov also agrees with this." Selov spoke very quickly. Fortunately, Chernenko was in poor health, but he did not have Brezhnev's hearing problems. He quickly understood his first job in physical recovery.

"Comrade Gromiko, is that true?" Chernenko looked at these opinions and asked the Soviet Foreign Minister Gromiko. In the current Soviet Union, Gromiko was almost equivalent to Molotov during the Stalin period. The time he and Molotov served as foreign ministers was almost half the history of the Soviet Union.

Daily propaganda and agitation must have a true communist nature. All the organs and newspapers mastered by the Party must be presided over by reliable Communists who are indeed loyal to the cause of the proletarian revolution. The dictatorship of the proletariat should not be discussed only as a popular formula that is memorized, but should be well promoted so that every ordinary male worker, female worker, soldier, and peasant can recognize the necessity of implementing the dictatorship of the proletariat through the living facts published daily in our newspapers. In newspapers, in people's conventions, in trade unions, cooperatives, and in all occasions that the Third International supporters can use, not only constantly and ruthlessly rebuke the bourgeoisie and its accomplices, but also all kinds of reformists.

These terms are no different from those from decades ago. The first one indicates that the Soviet Union and the Socialist International are completely different. Chernenko nodded and the establishment of the Communist International can also see the current status of the Soviet Union in the world.

"Yes, the hospital news, General Secretary Andropov can be discharged from the hospital in a week. So what we mean is that on this May Day International Labor Day, the Communist Party of all countries from all over the world will be invited to Moscow to celebrate and rebuild the Communist International at that time!" Gromiko looked at Selov and Ustinov, and the two nodded at the same time. This was the result of the discussion between the three of them.

"Okay, I agree to do this, and prepare for the May Day celebration meeting soon!" Chernenko quickly agreed to the three people's plan. Now there is only one question, whether Andropov's health will be healthy at that time.
