Chapter 256 Package plan

During the Cold War, the Soviet Union provided industrial aid to many countries, including China and India, with more small projects in India and more large projects. But there is a little different between the two. The difference lies in time. China quickly accepted and digested the industrial system given by the Soviet Union.

I don’t know if it was because the Soviet Union was afraid of a repeat of the scene from China, or because India’s own ability had problems, the time to digest the Soviet industrial system was greatly extended. It took twenty years from the 1960s to the 1980s to digest all the things given by the Soviet Union.

At present, the assistance to India is in a long-term state. As a national security organ, the KGB will review some industrial projects to see if there is any place that can pose a threat to the Soviet Union. In the Kremlin, Serepin and Serev walked through the long corridor to Khrushchev's office.

If there is a better relationship between the Soviet Union and which country is currently in good condition, it should be India. At least India does not have a direct threat to the Soviet Union. And so far, Khrushchev has never believed that China and India will have to fight to the point where they must fight. From a normal perspective, the areas bordering China and India are not suitable as battlefields. This is also the consensus on the border dispute between China and India under normal circumstances, and that place should be resolved peacefully.

"All the eight major aid plans for India this year have been evaluated. We have not discovered risks from the security aspect. The opinions of the National Security Council have been written in the report. We can wait for the approval of the Central Bureau at any time!" Shelofdoned and emphasized, "Information work on South Asia is the weakness of the National Security Council. For a long time, our strategic direction has always been the strongest in Europe, followed by other Americas, the Middle East and North Africa. The intelligence networks in South Asia have been working, but they cannot be said to be strong! I think there is still a need to strengthen the work in South Asia. Comrade First Secretary..."

"Tell me what you think!" Khrushchev waved his hand and said democratically. Xie Lieping was stunned. This situation was quite rare. At least Khrushchev was far from being so polite to other members of the Central Presidium.

This is normal. Because the ranks between Selov and Khrushchev are very different, Khrushchev is usually willing to show his democratic style when facing uncommon cadres. Selov thought for a while. "So the ethnic composition of India is relatively complicated. I am going to recruit a group of Uzbeks. Of course, this is not all. There are three other directions as auxiliary forces. Recruiting spies from British colonies in Africa, Afghanistan, which has good relations with India but has an opposition to Pakistan, and Indonesia, which has a large Indian population, will be handed over to the Seventh Division of the First General Administration for organization. The Seventh Division has a part of its work covering India..."

Is it wrong to do this at the moment of aiding friendly countries? The answer given by Khrushchev is that there is no problem. In this world, except for countries that cannot find value after searching for a long time, as long as there is a little bit of useable place in this country, the First General Administration of the KGB should have corresponding departments.

"I understand. No one in the entire central presidium has questioned your professionalism in security work! You can make preparations in advance and organize the South Asian intelligence network as soon as possible, preferably as powerful as ours in Europe!" Khrushchev put the aid report on India on the table and prepared to hand it over to Kosigin for processing.

This seems to be a very high praise. The KGB development has now shown a clear but not very understandable situation. At this time, it is not Selov who is not allowed to make ends meet. So under Xie Lieping's nose, his little brothers were very arrogant and narrowed the distance with the first secretary. Of course, they were all talking about work.

"First Secretary. The plan to build a farm in major border defense military regions is like this. In peacetime, soldiers should not wait for supply like the people. I think that major military regions should have basic logistics support capabilities that belong to their troops, so that we can reduce some pressure on the supply system and specifically use the extra capacity to solve the needs of the people. The liberated capacity can also avoid some waste in transportation!" Selov did not forget to add, "This is the information we obtained from China. I have to say that after analysis, it is a good solution!"

This intelligence officer naturally exists, and it is Selov himself. It is enough for precious intelligence personnel to detect how the Chinese team raises pigs. At least Selov will not let intelligence officers do such work. It is difficult to organize intelligence networks in a single nation and socialist countries, and China takes up both points.

"China? Okay. You can promote it in your KGB border defense zone to see the effect!" Khrushchev immediately agreed with Serov's suggestion as if he was conditioned when he heard about China.

So Selov discovered a basic fact that the KGB presidium held several meetings but did not decide here seemed to be resolved. There was such a good thing? Selov instantly gave up the idea of leaving, and he still had many things to solve. But with the power of the KGB, it could naturally be solved, but it was not as good as Khrushchev's words.

"The State Administration of Technology has tested the improved windmills for wind power generation. In some remote areas, outposts can use this method to obtain electricity, especially in some places in Siberia where supply difficulties can be promoted!" It fully interprets what it means to be more arduous. Selov is preparing to solve all the problems planned by the KGB within one year. How many of these problems are there? He can only say a lot, very many...

Regarding wind power generation, Selov could not use fucked energy conservation and environmental protection as an excuse. The Soviet Union valued achievements rather than this kind of thing. In addition to energy conservation and environmental protection, there were other excuses, such as national security. Small wind turbines are not high-tech, and the Soviet Union was used in the 1930s. The main benefit of promoting wind power generation is that most areas of the Soviet Union's huge territory were under the attack of cold air, and such abundant resources were wasted too much.

Selov regretted not taking the meteorological statistics report east of the Ural Mountains, otherwise it would be easier for Khrushchev to realize this. Now he can only use the memory in his mind to persuade him. Fortunately, this is not difficult, and it is not easy for Selov to forget what he has seen in a short period of time.

"Does wind power have such great capabilities?" Like many projects, the Soviet Union achieved great results at the beginning, but later he gradually gave up without knowing what happened. In the 1930s, the Soviet Union built a large number of small wind turbines, but in the end the Soviet Union felt that hydropower seemed to be better.

At present, the Soviet Union's electricity gap is not large, but this is based on the completion of development. Will the Soviet Union not establish new factories? The people no longer use electricity? The household appliances that appeared in the kitchen debate are no longer distributed to the people? Under the foreseeable circumstances, the Soviet Union's electricity will continue to develop. Didn't Lenin say that socialism is electrification? As Khrushchev, who has been raising Lenin to support Stalin's influence, naturally he is more willing to give his own answers on electrification.

By accident, Selov found out that he had succeeded again. Xie Lieping seemed to have discovered something. This feeling was like the feeling that he had been scraped by Selov. Yes, it was this feeling. Usually, Selov was always inspecting, either abroad or at home. As long as he returned to No. 11, Ruby Yangka Square, he usually saw Xie Lieping for the first time, and then he would pile up a whole pack of documents in front of him.

Usually, Selov would claim that these inspection reports were written by himself. Of course, Xie Lieping knew his subordinates very well. He could only write 300 words in even the review, and he would write the investigation report in person? It must be the two female secretaries around him who worked for him. Selov was at best just to speak. This process usually starts from a report from a national security perspective, and then it will become more and more in-depth. Once the communication between the two sides is relaxed and pleasant, Selov will take out all the various plans in the report, and almost everything above is beneficial to the country and the people. In the end, Xie Lieping also felt good and approved the above plan.

Xie Lieping was in charge of the National Security Committee for two years, and this situation occurred three times in total. Now, seeing that Xie Luov has proposed plans one by one through various data citations, the prospects seem to be quite bright, and he knows that it seems that he was encountered by the First Secretary for the fourth time.

"Burghum and mushrooms are both conducive to preservation. Can fungus be eaten with mustard? It doesn't matter if our people do not recognize this kind of thing. We can export it to China, and then tell our people that this natural food is very popular in China, and just copy a few Chinese medicine books from China!" Serov said this on the issue of sales of non-staple foods in forestry areas. Although this roundabout approach does not reflect the character of the Russians, it is very consistent with the working attributes of the KGB.

Khrushchev nodded frequently and said to Xie Lieping after a while, "Shurik, let's have dinner together later..."

"I can guarantee that the United Arab Republic will disintegrate within this year. Egypt and Syria are disconnected from Israel to become two unconnected lands. Moreover, Egypt has an attitude of being able to take Syria. According to the report of the Middle East Division of the First General Administration, Syria is quite dissatisfied with this. In my opinion, once Syria has endured enough, this United Republic will reach the moment of resolving the body!" Selov threw a bombshell in front of Khrushchev and Selepin.

Taking advantage of this rare opportunity, Selov tried his best to express all the plans that had been accumulated recently. Just as Selepin speculated, he took the opportunity to support the KGB package. In one day, Selov was recognized twenty times in Khrushchev, and all plans were passed. (To be continued.)
