Chapter 3496: Research on Cats and Dogs (18)

Chapter 3470 Research on Cats and Dogs (18)

The office door was knocked. Schiller looked up from the computer and found that Barry had stretched his head in.

"Professor, I want to take a few days off. But I didn't find Professor Hall. Can you please tell me about it for me?"

"Are you going to the Metropolis?" Schiller seemed to have expected it. He put the documents in his hand aside and said, "Your basic criminal investigation course is still two classes before you can complete your usual score. Are you planning to go in advance or come back?"

"Let's talk about it when you come back." Barry walked into the classroom and said, "If you go to other grades to listen to classes now, it may be a bit too late."

"Is it so urgent? The battle situation over there is already very anxious?"

"That's not. It's just that I really don't want to go to the rugby team anymore," Barry sighed. "It's a torture for me to run so slowly on purpose. I want to fight aliens more than to go to the training."

Schiller nodded and said, "Then you go, I will tell Professor Hall. Are you running over or driving?"

"Pamela and the others are going to go, they will take me a ride."

"She goes too? The paper she said she was going to publish last week has not been finished yet. Victor has been chasing her for several days."

"Then I don't know." Barry shook his head and said, "I guess she may have no clue."

"She just said that his new batch of plants was well cultivated. Why are he having no idea?"

"I don't know the specifics, but I seem to hear that the newly cultivated plants have made the laboratory mess again."

Schiller sighed and said, "Then let her go to the Metropolis. Our principal can no longer accept the higher loss bill."

Just as the two of them were chatting, the office door was knocked again. Barry walked over and opened the door and found a tall blonde girl standing outside.

"Hello, am I Professor Carla Danvers Schiller from the Department of Journalism? I'll ask him to modify the press release."

Barry quickly let her in, and at the same time walked over and pulled her out the chair. Kara smiled at him and said, "Thank you."

"Uh, no need." Barry scratched his head a little embarrassedly.

Schiller sat opposite Cara, took the press release from her hand, and said to Barry while looking: "Be prepared after going to the Metropolis, don't be distracted. If you have to fight, control your strength and don't make too big a scene."

"Don't worry, professor. I can." Barry nodded and said, "Oliver probably won't agree to me to hit the front. It's probably just running errands or something. The main attacker this time must be Clark. They have to solve their Kryptonian affairs by themselves."

When Kara heard a familiar word, she moved her heart, but she was a little doubtful. Did she hear it wrong? How could her university professor and classmates know about Krypton?

Schiller captured the abnormality of Kara's expression. He remembered that the old version of Kara knew that she was Kryptonian because she was born earlier than Clark. She had already remembered something when Krypton was destroyed. Although she had been delayed for a long time in the Phantom Zone, which made her look younger than Clark, she actually knew more about what happened back then.

Kara was obviously not the kind of hesitant person. She poked her head forward with curiosity and said, "You just mentioned, uh, Krypton?"

Barry didn't care that she knew. Since Schiller took the initiative to mention the matter of the Metropolitan area, it proved that this matter did not need to be kept secret in front of this girl. So he nodded and said:

"It seems that there is a Kryptonian spacecraft wandering around the edge of the solar system. The people who control the spacecraft are not friendly to the earth. They may want to invade the Metropolis. The superheroes over there are now anxious to help, and I want to go there too..."

"Krypton spaceship? How is this possible? Krypton was destroyed a long time ago..."

After Kara finished speaking, she realized that she had let go. She opened her mouth, but still did not tell her true identity, but just said, "You said you want to help, then are you also a superhero?"

Barry looked at Schiller and found that Schiller had no reaction. He nodded and said, "Yes, you should have seen me on TV. I am the Flash."

"God, are you the Flash?" Kara was a little shocked. She was a little far away and looked up and down at Barry, and found that judging from her body condition, he really looked like the Flash.

"Yes, I did see you. You stopped several vicious traffic accidents, which is simply too great."

Barry felt a little embarrassed when he heard Kara's sincere praise. But he still smiled and said, "That's just a simple task, not that great. But it seems that you know Krypton too?"

"Oh, yes, I've heard of it." Kara made a somewhat crappy excuse, and she said, "If I have superpowers, can I go over and help?"

"You want to go to the Metropolis?" Barry said curiously, "but now is not a good time..."

"I know that may be dangerous, but I think I can do my part, too." Kara said hurriedly, "and I am quite powerful, and I won't hold you back."

"No, I mean it's almost the end of the term. Have you completed your credits? If you don't have enough, it will be a bit difficult to graduate."

Carra breathed a sigh of relief and said, "I'm in the Cheer-La Dance Group training group, and I have 4 credits per semester. If I can win the prize, I can add two more points. It's definitely enough."

"Okay." Barry nodded and said, "We are not planning to go to the portal, but we plan to drive directly to the Metropolitan area. We have prepared two cars. We gathered at Gate 2 at 3 pm this afternoon. If you want to come, wait for us under the sculptures in Gate 2 Square."

Kara nodded quickly and said, "I will definitely arrive on time."

Barry left to pack his luggage. Schiller looked at the press release written by Carra, and could only say that no wonder he could be a world-famous female devil's press assistant in the future. His writing skills were quite good, and he had been working for many years.

He returned the manuscript to Kara and said, "I don't think there is any problem. Do you want to publish it at Gotham's newspaper?"

"Yes, professor. Because this will add color to my resume, but if you don't agree, I won't post it."

"You can post, but it's better to take it to the metropolis to post."

"Why?"

"There are too few newspapers that Gotham is willing to publish my interviews," Schiller said. "Several big newspapers should not accept your article. If you look for a tabloid, it will not help your resume."

Kara was obviously a little confused, but she didn't ask the question. She nodded and said, "Okay, I'll go to the Metropolis to look for it."

"Will you delay training if you go to the Metropolitan?" Schiller asked.

"It might take a few days," Kara said, "but my level is enough to win the gold medal. It's nothing to delay a few days. But I'm a little worried that my teammates will be a little lazy. Can you tell me and let him hurry up and train him?"

Schiller smiled and said, "Maybe you have too high demands, Miss. You can't ask everyone to have the physique of Kryptonians."

Kara was slightly stunned, holding her fingers holding the document tightly. She was about to say something, but Schiller shook his head and said, "Don't be nervous. There is more than one Kryptonian on Earth. I know the other one, and he is your fellow traveler."

"Who is he?" Kara was a little curious, but was not anxious. Because she had no sense of belonging to Krypton, she still prefers to be an ordinary earthling.

"Clark Kent. You should have heard of his name."

"Oh my God." Kara exclaimed, "You mean the famous reporter Kent? I've seen him report on Gotham Music Festival, and it's very well written. He turned out to be a Kryptonian?!"

"Yes. And I heard that his name on Krypton is Carl Al. Maybe you two are still related."

Kara was really surprised at this moment. She stood up and said, "You said his surname is Al? Is it true? Is it Al?!"

“It seems to be the pronunciation.”

Kara half opened her mouth and pinched the documents in her hand. The fellow villagers on the same planet are still different from the real relatives. She whispered: "Then he is really a relative with me. Is my brother here too? No, no. He should be my younger brother..."

"Sorry, Professor." Kara apologized to Schiller in a hurry, and then said, "I might have to go back and pack up. Let's talk about it next time."

After saying that, she ran out like her butt was on fire.

Schiller looked at her back and shook his head helplessly. It may not be a good thing to expose his Kryptonian identity to Clark at this time, especially the unknown whereabouts of Kara staying in the Phantom Zone were already suspicious enough.

This Justice League in the universe is not a good Mr. League. They have the time and ability to investigate things that the Justice League in the other universes has no time to take care of, and can nitrate the details and put out all dangers in the bud.

Schiller continued to browse the email, and then the door to his office was knocked again. An acquaintance came in. Jonathan Klein staggered in.

"Long time no see, Professor Rodriguez!" he said in a raised voice.

Schiller didn't even look at him, and continued to mark the emails he had read as read, and then unzipped out more attachments in the emails to view.

Jonathan didn't treat himself as an outsider, sat opposite Schiller, and said, "To celebrate my return to Gotham University, I prepared a dinner party. I wonder if Professor Rodriguez has time to enjoy the scenery?"

"You finally decided to use your own skills and poison me?"

"You're so misunderstood by me," said Jonathan.

"Yes, because you might be planning to poison all the professors."

"Stop kidding. It's all because of James Gordon's stinky shit. I have a fucking 170 years of property tax to pay! The salary of university professors is still quite considerable. No one wants Gotham University to flourish more than I do now."

"Have your lab been confirmed?" Schiller asked with a glance at him.

"Just confirmed, I chose the one on the northmost side of the third floor of the experimental building."

"I understand, I will walk around next time I go to the laboratory building."

Jonathan rolled his eyes and said, "I'm serious. Are you here for dinner tonight?"

Schiller looked at the number of unread emails, calculated the time, and said, "If nothing unexpected happens, you can. Who else did you invite?"

"Most of the professors, especially the old professors."

"You really want to poison them."

"Ha, who told them not to speak for me at all when I was fired? But don't worry, you will definitely not kill anyone. At most, you will have a nightmare for two days..."

Schiller picked up the phone beside him, and Jonathan quickly asked, "What are you going to do? Tell them about it?"

"It's nothing, I, a student, have something to ask me for. "Shiler glanced at the message from Bruce, then stood up and said, "You'd better send Victor a list of the dishes you added. If he had nightmares, he would definitely freeze you in the square and show it."

After saying that, he walked out of the office, sat down in the chair in the lounge, closed his eyes and took a nap, and returned to the tower.

I walked down the elevator, walked through the corridor on the 11th floor, and came to a door and knocked on the door.

"Charles, are you here? I want to ask for help in something."
